Evelyn my Darlin'

 

Evelyn is a beautiful, confident, and quick-witted 14 year old! I can't even believe how grown she is. She has all these boys pining after her. This was actually a real conversation she had:

"Can I have your twitter account?" 

"Oh, I don't do social media." 

"How about snapchat?" 

"...that would also be social media..."

 "Facebook?..." *goes on to list every possible social  media account* 

 "What even are those?!"

 "ok, so this sounds weird, but can I get your physical address so I can write you a snail mail?!"

 "ummm...no, that would be creepy."

In January, Evelyn got to perform her first play. She got to play 'Garbage' in "Villian School." I may be completely biased but I think she stole the show, It seemed like she was almost sparkling....like a creepy vampire or something. 

In the play, her love interest was supposed to sing her a bunch of 1920's songs like "Let me call you sweetheart," "Ragtime Gal," and others. No one knew these songs for the rehearsals. But Evelyn stood up and exclaimed, "I know them! Forties music is kinda my jam!" Then she proceeded to teach the cast the songs.

When she applied for the play, the application asked if she would be ok kissing a member of the opposite sex if she got a main role. She wrote: "No WAY!!!! Not until I am at LEAST 16!!!....maybe not even then..." 

She ended up getting the one role that had a kiss in the script. She didn't do it. I was a bit proud...and a little disappointed.

Gigi and Timothy

 Timothy and Gigi adore each other. Timothy is always very gentle with her, and Gigi adores watching Timothy. At church today, Timothy turned to Michael and said very solemnly, "Daddy, I never fight with Baby Gigi."
