 This picture was taken on the Fourth of July, so happy Independence Day! Angelo really liked his bandanna up until he woke up from his nap. Then it had to be killed.

"Mommy said not to eat this evil thing on my neck, so I'm going to look at her with my puppy eyes so I can have what I want."

  This is Evelyn's newest black eye. She gets more black eyes than any other kid I know. This time she was jumping on the bed while playing tug-of-war with Angelo. She says this picture reminds her of the Norman Rockwell painting where the little girl is sitting outside the principal's office with a black eye and a very smug smile. So true!
